On this week’s Yuri and Jakub Go For a Drive, the boys test out the 2017 Range Rover Evoque (Tested Here). The Evoque has been on sale for a number of years now, and yet, the design doesn’t seem to have aged at all. It is still a beautiful SUV and one of the most visually stunning. The Evoque prioritizes image above all else. The knockout styling comes at the expense of interior room and outward visibility. The graphics on the infotainment touchscreen are sharp and modern, but the menu is a bit tricky to navigate. The Evoque is a strong on-road performer, but it comes at the expense of true heavy duty off-road prowess that Range Rovers have always been known for. At the end of the day though, no one is buying a Range Rover as a sensible alternative to a Toyota Highlander or as a rock-crawling alternative to the Jeep Wrangler. This is an image vehicle. In that respect, it’s a winner.
